Moncho's Principles

A market is nothing but a subset of needs.

Moncho takes a needs-first approach to mapping markets, starting from the atomic units of demand (jobs-to-be-done, challenges, aspirations) that shape real economies. From those needs we connect segments, organizations, products, pricing, and experts, then attach sourced evidence so builders can explore landscapes and sizes without guessing.

Understanding markets starts with understanding demand. These six principles guide how we build Moncho: the shared map, the evidence, and the tools on top.

1. Demand is the Atomic Unit

Everything in a market starts with demand: the needs people and organizations are trying to fulfill.

Demand connects organizations, products, experts, market sizes, and prices in a web of relations. By mapping demand, Moncho maps the real economy of needs and opportunities, not just industry labels.

2. Visualize and Quantify the Demands

Every market, sector, and innovation begins with demand, yet we rarely measure them.

Moncho helps visualize and quantify demands so builders can see where real needs lie, how they evolve, and what remains unmet. Landscapes and market sizes are interfaces to that map, not decoration.

When demands become measurable, progress becomes navigable.

3. Trust in both UX and Architecture

We show how data is captured, edited, and verified.

Traceability, verification, and transparency are part of the product from day one. Every dataset should carry a record of how it was discovered, verified, and used. When coverage is thin, we say so. Trust is not a badge. It is the foundation.

4. One Shared Map, Many Interfaces

Moncho is infrastructure for market knowledge, not a single screen.

The same foundation powers landscapes, analyst tools, and AI interfaces. Improvements to the map and evidence should benefit every surface. Chat is one way to ask questions. It is not the product itself.

5. Ground AI in Structured Evidence

The next generation of AI needs real-world grounding.

Moncho provides queryable, structured context: entities, relationships, and sourced facts that tools can connect to. AI should reason, plan, and explain against that evidence, and refuse to invent numbers when the evidence is missing.

6. Enable Better Problem Solvers

Moncho is built for builders, thinkers, and solvers who shape the future.

We provide a map: demands, relationships, and opportunities that help them see and connect more clearly. Over time we aim to reduce uncertainty before real choices (enter, price, source, expand). We do not invent certainty when the map or the evidence is incomplete.

The clearer the map, the better the navigation.

These principles guide Moncho from data architecture to user experience. Staying true to them helps more people build viable businesses and increase global economic output.
